In The Circle Maker, M. Batterson asks, “IS THERE A LIMIT TO GOD’S POWER?” Your answer to this question, the question, will determine the size of your prayer…
A B4Ter in the Middle East writes:
I want to pray BIG prayers. And I want to have resilient faith, to keep praying for BIG things, even when it takes a long time. Rob Reimer, in Deep Faith, adds this about praying BIG prayers for a long period of time: “TIME is the ultimate tester of our resolve to hold to the promise and not settle for anything less than God’s purpose. Time will reveal our true character and test our passion; time will refine our motives and nearly destroy our dreams. But those who pass the test of time and remain steadfast in trust and relentless pursuit of God and His purposes will be rewarded.
Jesus clarifies, Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
What are we asking of God for our family, our workplace, our community?
Are we limiting our God by limiting our prayers?
